Senior Applications Support Analyst

Location: New Hyde Park, NY

The Application Support Analyst’s role will be to deliver support and training to end users in the organization. This includes troubleshooting applications and software used by internal customers and business units, as well as providing technical assistance to external parties connecting to systems. The Application Support Analyst is also responsible for system documentation, management of user support requests, report validation, application testing, and support of the broader IT team as required.

The successful candidate will have the ability to:
  • effectively communicate with users and management
  • work independently or as part of a team
  • develop detailed plans and explain tasks to others
  • be flexible and willing to grow into other technical areas

  • Minimum 3 years of IT support experience
  • 2 or 4 year degree in computer science or related field is preferred
  • Strong documentation skills, including the ability to develop and interpret technical documentation for training end users
  • Ability to perform comparison testing to assist in identifying irregularities occurring in a report or process
  • Proven experience with troubleshooting principles, methodologies, and issue resolution techniques
  • Ability to troubleshoot technical problems as they arise
  • Proficiency in the use of MS Office Suite, including Office 365
  • Experience with Salesforce is a plus
