Customer Solutions Engineer (fulltime | Remote)

As a Junior Customer Solutions Engineer, you’ll be an integral part of our Customer Success Team, working with current and prospective customers to help them integrate our product into their current systems as well as advise and build innovative solutions for their secure data transfer needs. From customer onboarding through adoption, you will be leading technical discussions with key stakeholders to ensure our customers are maximizing the value of our cloud-based Secure Data Transfer Platform. 

Responsibilities will include
  • Discussion: Run technical conversations with valuable leads and clients, including demos, configuration reviews, troubleshooting, and Q&As.
  • Development: Build and test custom solutions for our API, integrations, and low/no-code automation framework, Actions.
  • Education: Share security industry, product, and process knowledge with colleagues and customers alike.
  • Documentation: Generate and review internal and public-facing text and video documentation.
  • Escalation: Relay product and process feedback from clients, leads, and employees to the appropriate parties for triage, prioritization, and improvement; bridge the gap between Sales, Customer Service, Product, and Support.

Desired skills
  • 1-2 years of experience in a relevant role.
  • Technical Expertise: Junior-level familiarity with software development, including programming languages (Node and Python in particular, plus HTML, CSS, JavaScript) and REST APIs. Knowledge of systems architecture, networking, cybersecurity, and cloud computing platforms (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud) a plus.
  • Problem-Solving: Ability to diagnose problems and devise effective solutions. Creative, analytical thinking to address complex challenges and tailor solutions to client needs.
  • Communication: Ability to convey–verbally and in writing–technical solutions to non-technical stakeholders. Ability to prepare clear presentations and documentation.
  • Sales Acumen: Understanding of the sales process to align technical solutions with business objectives. Support sales teams, handle objections, and help close deals by demonstrating the product's value proposition.
  • Customer Focus: Empathizing with customer needs and providing exceptional service experience. Listen to customer requirements and concerns and translate them into actionable solutions.
  • Project Management: Use project management methodologies to manage resources, timelines, and deliverables.
  • Industry Knowledge: Keep up to date with industry trends, standards, and compliance requirements.
  • Collaboration: Work effectively with cross-functional teams, including Sales, Support, Success, Product, and external stakeholders.
