Software Tester (Remote)

What will you do:

Design, execute and document test cases for the platform across a range of browsers
Efficiently execute test cases against all components of the platform
Clearly document and identify steps to reproduce software defects
Follow up using a defect-tracking process
Contribute to planning with the Development Team to identify defective workflows
Able to work independently with guided supervision
Function as a key member of an agile, custom software-development process
Participate in design reviews
Generate test reports to document test results

Requirements:

Excellent communication skills (written and verbal)
Strong technical troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
Team player
Familiar with Windows and OS X as well as browsers including IE, Edge, Firefox, Chrome, Safari
Google Workspace (Docs, Sheets, Slides, Mail)
Jira or other ticketing system
Ability to work with instructions to set up your own test environment, set up API scripting tests, and set up other third party integrations

You may also have:

Familiarity with Github and version control
Familiarity with BrowserStack
Postman
Proxy Tools
Understanding of TCP/IP, HTML, database fundamentals and concepts, Selenium, and scripting of test cases
Have worked in an early-stage startup or small team
AWS service knowledge in order to maintain our infrastructure
A passion for learning, the cybersecurity domain, and keeping ahead of ever evolving security threats
