Payroll Coordinator

Seeking a Payroll Coordinator who will be assist with the firm-wide payroll function.

Responsibilities:
  • Working with the Payroll Supervisor to process 600 plus multi-state employees for semi-monthly and monthly payroll cycle. Prepare payrolls including processing overtime, new hires, terminations, benefit deductions, workflows and vacation pay, etc.
  • Transmitting payroll files, taxes and direct deposit to ACH clearing house.
  • Processing year end utility updates.
  • Working with Ceridian for quarterly and yearly tax forms as well as W-2’s.
  • Handling all necessary tax amendments when needed.
  • Creating various, monthly and yearly reports using Ultipro/UKG Business Intelligence.
  • Working closely with the HR department.
  • Processing of manual checks, as necessary.

Experience/Qualifications:
  • Bachelor’s degree with at least 3 years of payroll experience.
  • Experience with H/R/Payroll Systems, Ultimate Software (Ultipro/UKG) preferred.
  • Microsoft Office (Excel and Word), NetDocs, Ultipro Business Intelligence and Ceridian Tax Filing.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills for interaction with co-workers, management, legal and administrative staff.
