Web and Social Media Specialist

The Web & Social Media Specialist will be a key contributor to the marketing team, working closely with the Sr. Web & New Media Manager to help set and execute digital marketing strategies for the firm’s online properties and social media.


Responsibilities
  • Maintenance of the firm’s website and other online properties, including daily publication of articles and updates to existing content
  • Continually developing and implementing plans for website enhancement, in collaboration with the Business Development Department and other areas of the firm
  • Working with external vendors to roll out new features, upgrades and bug fixes, and performing ongoing quality assurance efforts
  • Producing high-quality and detailed web analytics reports that are accessible to a general audience and contain actionable insights
  • Publishing to social media sites and reporting on performance metrics. Collaborating across departments in developing and scheduling new content for social platforms
  • Advising BD, operational and legal personnel on social media best practices


Requirements
  • At least 5 years of experience in web production and/or project management roles, with involvement in large-scale development projects. Agency experience is a plus
  • Extensive exposure to content management systems. Proficient in HTML & CSS, Adobe Creative Suite and MS Suite. Familiarity with web UX design principle
  • A proven record of developing and executing on social media marketing plans. Has a deep understanding of content marketing on social
  • Excellent Google Analytics skills
  • Solid understanding of digital marketing best practices; experience with e-marketing and customer relationship management platforms
  • Must have excellent communication skills, both written and oral. Experience writing marketing or editorial content for a B2B audience preferred
  • Detail-oriented, with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
  • Overtime work is sometimes required, including occasional weekends
  • Bachelor's degree
