About the Role:
We are seeking an experienced Software Engineer to join our security team. This role focuses on designing, implementing, and deploying security solutions and guardrails across our applications and services. You will collaborate with engineering teams, product managers, and security engineers to embed security best practices throughout the software development lifecycle and build scalable solutions to prevent vulnerabilities.

Responsibilities:

• Design, implement, and deploy baseline security controls and guardrails.
• Automate security review processes to improve efficiency and scale.
• Support strategic security initiatives aimed at enhancing overall security maturity.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or related field.
• 5+ years of experience in software development.
• Proficiency in Python or Go for automation and tooling.
• Experience with multi-cloud environments (AWS, GCP, Azure).
• Strong communication skills to explain complex concepts to technical and non-technical audiences.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.

Nice-to-Haves:

• Master’s degree in Computer Science or related field.
• AI security experience.
• Experience building security systems or performing threat modeling.
• Familiarity with blockchain technologies and smart contract security.

Salary Range: $186K–$219K USD + bonus, equity, and benefits
