Staff Security Engineer, Corpsec (Remote)

We’re looking for a Staff Security Engineer to help define and implement the technical direction for corporate security across devices, infrastructure, applications, and network communications. This role is highly cross-functional — partnering closely with IT and engineering teams — and focuses on building secure-by-default systems that do not create friction for users.

You’ll design and ship security controls, write software that automates and hardens corporate environments, and evaluate enterprise systems for risk. Your work will directly protect the organization’s most sensitive data and assets.

What You’ll Do

  • Design, implement, and manage security solutions for macOS, Chromebook, and mobile endpoints — including secure configurations, compliance, threat detection, and usability
  • Perform security reviews on enterprise systems and internal software
  • Integrate endpoint, SaaS, and data-security solutions into broader engineering initiatives
  • Build automation and tooling to reduce risk and streamline operations
  • Mentor engineers and influence architectural direction

What We’re Looking For

  • 7+ years in software or security engineering
  • 2+ years securing macOS and Chromebook endpoints, plus common SaaS applications in a large corporate environment
  • Strong understanding of high-quality code and solid engineering processes
  • Execution-focused: able to navigate ambiguity and drive results
  • Ability to think long-term while executing short-term priorities
  • Interest in complex security problems and high-impact infrastructure work

Nice to Have

  • Experience designing and scaling production services or “paved roads” for 10,000+ users
  • Experience securing mobile endpoints (iOS/Android), device trust, or zero-trust network access solutions
  • Experience with Golang, Python, containerization, AWS/GCP
  • Background in corporate security engineering at scale

Compensation

  • Zone 1: ~$256K base + 15% bonus (LA, SF, NY, San Diego, Chicago)
  • Zone 2: ~$231K base + 15% bonus (Chicago, DC, Boston, Portland, Miami)
  • Zone 3: ~$218K base + 15% bonus 
  • Equity: ~$275K/year in RSUs, quarterly vesting
