Compensation: $200,000 – $250,000 + equity
About the Role
We’re looking for an experienced engineering leader to join as Head of Engineering. You’ll:
- Solve complex technical challenges with efficient, innovative solutions.
- Translate customer feedback into meaningful product improvements.
- Design, evaluate, and implement full end-to-end solutions.
- Lead a team of ~5 engineers.
- Manage project requirements, priorities, and deliverables on schedule.
- Own technical projects and processes.
- Report directly to the founder and collaborate closely with other functions (e.g. design, product, etc.).
What You’ll Bring
- Bachelor’s or Master’s in Engineering / Computer Science — or equivalent experience.
- 5+ years of software engineering experience, including at least 1 year leading a team.
- Strong hands-on experience with TypeScript, Node.js, and React.
- Deep Git proficiency.
- Comfortable functioning as a full-stack engineering leader.
- Product-oriented mindset and willingness to understand business context.
- Experience running agile development processes.
- Passion for solving complex problems, exploring new technologies (e.g. AI, voice-to-script, hardware), and building for scale.
- Ability to clearly articulate trade-offs (features vs resources vs speed) to non-technical stakeholders.
