Compensation: $200,000–$280,000 + equity (≈ 1–2%)

📌 What You’ll Do

• Own design, architecture, and maintenance of backend systems — services, data jobs, auth, search indices, workflow engines.
• Manage infrastructure (currently on AWS), ideally using Infrastructure-as-Code (IaC).
• Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines and test suites to support fast engineering velocity while controlling cost.
• Deliver major features in coordination with other engineers across the company.
• Lead technical decisions: framework selection, database schema design, overall system architecture.

✅ Experience & Requirements

• 6–14 years overall in backend engineering, with at least ~5+ years post-senior experience.
• Prior technical leadership experience (able to drive system architecture independently).
• Familiarity with backend stack: TypeScript, Python, Go, Postgres, AWS / IaC (e.g. Pulumi).
