Senior Architecture & Engineering Specialist

The Senior Architecture & Engineering Specialist is responsible for the design, planning, implementation and integration of all components of the Firm’s technology infrastructure, including messaging systems, storage, Remote Access systems, and BCP/DR in a largely Microsoft Windows environment. Duties also include advising on systems and requirements (architecture, technical design, security, etc.) for incoming and proposed new systems, creating and maintaining written documentation, including system manuals and documentation of modifications and upgrades, as well as providing 3rd-tier technical support for a wide array of technology, including infrastructure, messaging, datacenter, and desktop issues as needed. Perform all aspects of Level 3 Citrix support activities for global Citrix Infrastructure, consisting of Citrix XenApp / XenDesktop 6.x / 7.x, NetScaler (physical and virtual) , Director, Storefront, Web Interface, Delivery Controllers (CDC), Provisioning Services (PVS), VDI and etc.

Candidates must have 7+ years of progressive IT experience, including experience in a multi-office environment, recent experience and/or certifications in MS Enterprise suite and Windows Server Roles/Features (Active Directory, SQL, DHCP, DNS, (GPO) Policies, DFS and replication, Public DNS, Clustering), Microsoft Exchange 2016 or Exchange Online, Messaging integrations, remote connections to messaging systems, experience with Azure IaaS and PaaS deployments,Technology infrastructure, IP structure, physical and logical segments, VLANs, Functional knowledge of TCP/IP and standard ports, and Advanced Powershell and scripting knowledge. Other DevOps experience a plus. Preferred candidates will have a Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or other related field, and prior law firm or professional services experience.
